The room was clean and functional but only had 2 mugs and no tea bags, we had to ask at desk for them. We had booked a family room for three but towels only provided for two people.
This is the third time we have stayed at the Keswick and its location to town and the food are excellent. This time the weather was very cold and it made for an uncomfortable stay in our room. The windows are the large old sash style and are therefore not double glazed. The window in our room did ...
Lovely central hotel, reasonably priced with friendly staff and decent breakfast. I was offered a complimentary glass of wine on arrival, which was a nice surprise after a long train journey. I also used the swimming pool and as it was empty I had it all to myself. I'd recommend this hotel to friends ...

Hotel could do with painting. Conservatory needs extra heating in winter months. Breakfast needs upgrading eg fresh fruit & grilled bacon etc plus choice of eggs.

Well located for Hadrian’s Wall Hexham and Kielder Water and Forest Park. The Health club was very good with good facilities. Breakfast and meals generally ...
Stayed for 3 nights (1st week Feb) and had a great, relaxing break. The type of hotel is in the name, "The Lodge...", and the rooms are spacious, comfortable and has a large television with all the Freesat Channels. I mainly used it as a base for when I went walking, but the snowfall on the first ...
