A basic but very clean hotel with pleasant staff. Perfect for a ski break or active holiday - within walking distance of the centre, bus stop and train station.
Beautiful / fantastic views. Easy check-in/out. Very comfortable inside with everything needed to make a comfortable stay. Will definitely look to book again on next visit!!
This place was very comfortable and well equipped for a one night stopover. We ate our home cooked meal on the private balcony enjoying the stunning mountain views. Leysin is beautiful! Having to take out our rubbish to some designated point in the parking garage was a bit weird.
Although rated 3 stars...any 4 star customer would be extremely happy here. This is a typical Swiss Alpine chalet style hotel. Great accommodations and a superb restaurant. One of the best in the village. Ask for the renovated rooms facing south towards the Alps. New bathrooms are 5 Star. Beds very ...
Rising out of the Rhone Valley, the Vaudois Alps is one of Switzerland’s little secrets. With great winter-sports holidays and summer hiking and biking, the area is full of snow-covered peaks, forests and little mountain villages. Make the most of Vaudois Alps by booking a stay in a three-star hotel.
Mostly found in the main resort towns of Villars, Leysin and Les Diablerets, Expedia’s range of three-star Vaudois Alps hotels includes traditional timber chalets, modern apartment hotels, and classic alpine-style places to stay with outdoor terraces and mountain views. Many have kitchenettes and private balconies along with conveniences like ski storage, laundry facilities, indoor swimming pools, spa and steam rooms.
Depending on their location, some of Vaudois Alps’ three-star hotels have ski-in-ski-out access, which is a treat if you love staying on the slopes all day. Other three-star hotel are in the resort villages within walking distance of ski lifts and gondolas, or, if they’re a little further out, offer a complimentary ski bus. Out of the ski season, there’s still plenty to do in the area, so find out if your hotel can help by arranging fishing, horse-riding or mountain-biking.
You might also like to take some time out whle you’re in Vaudois. Head out on a gentle walk along any of the 310 miles of trails which criss-cross the region. Make a day of it by stocking up on local cheeses, meats and fruits and take a stroll across lush mountain pastures, stopping for a lazy lakeside picnic to a soundtrack of birdsong and cowbells. For an insight into local culture and history, you could also visit nearby Aigle Castle, now a wine museum, or take a day trip on the local narrow-gauge railway enjoying the views between Lausanne and Bercher.
