"People in the pub-(it’s not a hotel really as its rooms above the pub) are excellent. First class friendly people. Food (burgers) really tasty. Student / young people Saturday evening. Rooms are pretty dated - old shower tray wouldn’t empty so feet had a bath- but fine for a couple in nights (up in Newcastle for football) just to sleep in before getting up to enjoy the City.
