"Had a very restful 2 week stay. Stayed in the penthouse and it was huge. Had everything we needed. There was some street noise at night. It was about 20 minute walk to the Malecon and 10 minutes to the beach. Mona, Cali and Caralee were all wonderful staff that made our stay!"

"Mako 54 was amazing. Herlinda was so accommodating to our arrival time. She met us, made sure we completely understood how access to the apartments worked and was always available if we needed anything. We mistakenly left our laptop behind, she’s notified us before we realized it was left behind. We arranged it to be picked up the next day by ours parents without any problems. We recommend this place if you’re looking for a clean, modern and safe place! We will be back!"

"The property is in good location in the Malecon and within a block from the beach. Lots of dining options nearby. Friendly staff. Our 2-bedroom unit is roomy and clean. The hotel was renovated in the last few years. However, they missed the opportunity to improve noise management in the building as the glass deck doors are paper thin. A double-pane windows would have helped reduce the street noise as the hotel is located in a busy street. Also, beach towels would be a nice addition to the rooms."

"Great for the price. Very affordable and right in the middle of the Zona Romantica. That means it can be a bit loud at night, but I knew that. Night gets loud outside around 11pm and lasdts until 1:30am then is quiet. Not the hotels fault, just the nature of the area. Amazing breakfast each morning from 9am to 11am. Coffee, huevos, and fruit. Made by very kind staff. Would recommend for the thrifty traveller. Wifi not the greatest, a bit spotty but got the job done."

"CBB is conveniently located by the main pier. It’s away from the main town which makes it very quiet. The views are the best! The staff was incredibly helpful as well. There is about a .5 mile walk across the beach to town which can be a lot so be mindful. All in all, we’d stay here again if we were to revisit."

"We loved staying here as it was super quiet and a very inexpensive Uber ride down to the Malecon, also alot of great breakfast & dinner options! However, the beds are very firm and difficult to sleep on - which if you enjoy really firm beds, this will be a plus for you! It was however a downfall for my husband and I and we got little sleep during our stay due to the beds. They have a great little communal kitchen and pool area :)"

"Autonomy. It is like having a private condo. I loved the choice of being able to prepare our own meals if we wanted to have a slow start to the day or have a meal enjoy fresh local produce. Pool was FANTASTC!!! "

"The property and surrounding are beautiful. So many pools and ocean. Very green jungle which amazed us. The nature tour with Jair was exceptional."

"My parents stayed in an apartment nearby and this was very walkable. There is construction outside, but it didn’t bother us at all. Construction means improvements! Front desk was very nice and accommodating. Each room has a pitcher and cups with bottled water in the hallway. Pool is just right!"
