"My son and I enjoyed this hotel a lot. Apex Hotel was the best of the four hotels we stayed in. The room had everything we needed with the exception of a microwave. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast provided the usual but also included the "full English breakfast". The dinner menu included sticky toffee pudding and it was delicious. I would give the hotel 4 stars."

"Really great location in Bristol, with good food and drink options at the hotel. I particularly appreciated the attached carpark and how easily walkable everything was. The room was just perfect with great linens and towels, robes, slippers, room service and free bottled water. "

"Good value considering it was so close to city centre and public transport, which was what I wanted. Very helpful desk staff. Comfortable room. Restaurant attached to it had good menu, and there are many more restaurants across the road in shopping centre too. "

Our bathroom while very nice was showing its age with some of the caulking and the glass shower divider was loose so let some water spill out. Just a bit more attention to detail and the cleaning would have been 5 stars. I would return. Thank you for a lovely stay. "

"Central but still quiet (even though we were facing the main road). Staff very helpful- including providing early check in as we had a wedding and needed to get changed. Car park was secure and reasonably priced. "

"We had a wonderful experience at the Gainsborough Bath Spa hotel during a short visit to town. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a couples massage during our stay and the spa in the hotel is top notch. The room was gorgeous with high ceilings and a nice separation of spaces. The nightly turndown service was unexpected and appreciated. We pretty much loved everything about this place!"
