"We loved staying at this fantastic old pub the staff were great breakfast was fantastic and included in the price. The only 2 things I would change is the bed, it was rock hard and could’ve don’t with a soft top mattress topper to fix this problem, and there was no air conditioner and the room was very hot so a ceiling fan or even a pedestal fan could be in the rooms. Other than that everything else was great. "

"The Quarryman Arms is a wonderful experience. A beautiful Pub is on the main floor with rooms on various levels within the building. We stayed in a room in the basement that had so much charm. Little touches were appreciated, like two bottles in the honor bar that had tags saying, "This one's on us". The staff were great. "Great location, finding parking wasn’t bad although it did cost us £25 to park for one night. The room didn’t have an expresso machine as advertised and we only had one coffee each on arrival and that was it. Would have been nice to have more coffee and milk. Minor details but makes the difference. Overall though, was satisfied with the stay and location. "

"Room was lovely however, water pressure wasn't great and it took ages to fill the bath in the room we were in. The breakfast options were a bit lax, no congenital options and if you're not a fan of eggs then menu is a bit limited. Otherwise location is fab, really short walk to and from the city centre and the hill on the way back really isn't that bad. All the staff at the hotel were lovely and welcoming, room was spotless and very clean. All in all we would come back. "

"The communication was a bit wonky. Didn't get the check-in instructions email. If it was sent outside of hotels.com it may have ended up in junk or spam since the email. We never did track down the email, but were able to reach our host via phone who then texted us instructions. Thus, after a bit of confusion, however, we were put in the right place with the helpful assistance of the cleaning person. The rooms were bright and cheery and rather larger than expected. "Clean, comfortable and quiet rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. Very convenient, a short walk from the centre and everything you need. It was a bit hot in the room, but a fan was provided. I would highly recommend and stay again "
