Breakfast included in the price was outstanding and we even ate at the smokehouse for dinner, which was very tasty. Nice view of the river out the room window. "Lovely b&b. Fantastic 3 course meal. Highly recommended. Kate is a super host. But the two dogs beg at the breakfast/dinner table. They need to be kept in a separate room while guests are eating. Breakfast was disappointing. Cooked breakfast consisted of 2 streaky bacon,burnt sausage and a fried egg with yolk overcooked. Make sure you ask how you want your eggs cooked. First morning we asked for scrambled egg which were perfect! Also the bedroom door needs a proper key lock on it. Everything...

"We was meant to stay here I booked a room with double & 2 singles, when I got the confirmation it stated 1 double 1 sofa bed the property made the mistake, after calling hotels.com to try to resolve I got nowhere, so I had no choice but to book another property. After booking another property I then get a call from this property saying they made a mistake. Hotels.com wouldn’t refund me. So I asked the property to refund me which was short by £20 odd pounds. So overall not a good experience "

"A bit out of the city but easy to get in and out of town. Room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent and so were the evening meals we ate there every night. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nearby laundromat was helpful for us!"
