I was shown to my room and given info on the heating, breakfast times etc. Breakfast was served by a polite and pleasant lady, the breakfast itself was very nice (I opted for the traditional English). Plenty of parking available. The room itself was comfortable. Bathroom functional although if I was being overly critical I would say it could benefit from a bit of an update. "Guest house is easily reached by car from LHR, located across from Maidenhead Rowing Club in iconic Thames valley setting. Bed and facilities were extremely clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Hosts were delightful."

"Last minute stay for a trip to Stockley Park. Easy to find the property on the main road, parking at the front was simple. I was upgraded from a single to double (family room possibly) and was very pleasantly surprised. Bed was comfortable, shower was spacious with decent water pressure. Decent TV, there was an in room fridge too. Cooked breakfast made to order was good too. Can’t fault it at the price, and will stay there again"

"Lovely room and amazing shower. A few things that would improve overall visit- the green emergency light above the bedroom door casts light into the room all night and really impacts sleep for people who need a dark room? It was rather like having a nightlight you could not switch off. Would also be nice to have more than one towel and a mirror in the bedroom to dry hair. Comfortable bed but I didn’t sleep well due to the light issue unfortunately "

"Very nice and cozy bedroom at the top floor of the building. everything was clean and cozy! Surrounding area does not allow you to park. Check out: no instruction on where to leave the keys... Overall, I would very recommend it!"

"This amazing canal boat was the highlight of our trip to England! We were amazed at how nice and clean it was. Dinner at the pub nearby was excellent and morning coffee on the deck was a truly wonderful experience. Enjoying canal life for a day was a pleasure, we will definitely stay again on our next trip."
