We needed a room close to Woodbine because we had a horse in the very last race. When we booked this hotel, the cost was very low so we didn't expect much, but it was close to Woodbine, so we figured we'd give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised. We were welcomed at the front desk. The room was very nice. We would definitely stay there again. In fact, if our horse races again this Saturday, we know where we're staying.

Reception very abrupt (didn't get a warm fuzzy feeling), but helpful nonetheless.
Room immaculate and very comfortable.
Good breakfast. Excellent breakfast staff who couldn't do enough.
One downside is noisy (early flight) airport travelers in the hallways at 03:30. Also, free internet so slow. Could upgrade but don't see why should have to.
I wanted to get out of Toronto as quickly as possible in the morning, and the Newmarket Inn is at the end of the built-up portion of Yonge Street. However, it is only a couple blocks north of a major shopping mall, so it is convenient if you need to buy something. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room had everything I needed.
M&ms wife and I were going to Toronto for the night and decided to stay here. Excellent room and amenities. The room was clean and and everything you could need. Warm swimming pool and fantastic hot/cold breakfast.
