When looking for a location to stay 'in town', we looked at hotels and bed and breakfasts and based on the reviews we read, decided on the Ivy at Verity which to us seemed to have the best of both worlds - the amenities of a hotel, and the intimacy of a B and B.
Once we found the entrance to the hotel (117D by the way) we were greeted by the concierge who then took us up to our room, giving us the history of the building, and a tour of the facilities normally used by the members of the club in which the 4 rooms are located.
The room was beautiful, large and comfortable, and extended by being able to go out onto the balcony. The bathroom and room were extremely clean. In addition to the amenities in the room, there was a common area just down the hall where coffee, tea, and soft drinks were available (complimentary). An honour bar also had a range of beverages for consumption. The common area was also where you picked up your continental breakfast. Coffee was brought up to our room very expeditiously after a simple call down to the front desk.
Overall good visit.
Was concerned that room was not properly cleaned one night and we did complain and good service was provided from that point.
Location very good.
Staff very good
Overall a very good experience.
Lovely hotel, very modern and luxurious. The room was beautifully appointed and had all the expected modern amenities. Perfectly located within walking distance to nice restaurants and shopping. Nice bar and cafe within hotel premises.
The staff was pleasant and accomodating.
Experience was amazing, courteous staff rooms were nice and clean , quiet, we forgot a cork screw and my wife called it in down stairs just to inquire if there was any at the gift shop and they brought one up
Have stayed at hotel quite a few times. Usually stay in regular room. Went for deluxe as I was hosting a get together. Room was clean. Comfortably large. The staff provided water bottles which was very kind. Had food at the Epic Bar Melissa always makes me laugh. I would never hesitate to recommend this hotel
Hotel was downtown - nice location on the water. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were great. It was a bit disapointing that the shuttle didn't run to the mall and we ended up spending a fair bit of money on taxi's....but the hotel was overall great.
