"Prince Rupert House is a very beautiful house on a country estate. It has an outdoor pool which our grandchildren loved. Also croquet, tennis court and lots of walks. We had no issues with the house … it slept 10 comfortably and would accommodate 12. Great place to go and relax. 25 minutes from York and 30 minutes from Harrogate. All in all a lovely time together as a family. No complains at all. I can heartily recommended this place. They also have smaller properties too."

"Colton Loft was very clean and comfortable. It had all the amenities that one would wish, situated in a beautiful quiet village with the helpful host living just next door. The 3 local pubs Plum and Partridge, Carlton Inn and the Fauconberg were all very good. Exploring York was also easy with the use of the excellent Rawcliff Bar park and ride."

"We had the best stay at this property. All three properties are very well equipped and were perfect for our large group. The location is stunning and great for doing walks in the local area. Sally was very responsive to any queries I had ahead of the trip and whilst we were there. A hot tub had just been installed a few days before we arrived and was the perfect addition to the property. I am very much looking forward to coming back in the future!"

So we missed out on the tub on the Friday night. • A few more dishwashing tablets would have been helpful, as would bin bags • The outside staircase up to the building had large spaces between the bars, which is dangerous for small kids. "As ever, heavenly! We spent a lovely 5 days at barn acre. The weather though changeable was excellent and gave us a chance to continue to explore the area. Bolton castle is a must. We were able to return to barn acre knowing that it is a wonderful base. Everything you need for a very comfortable visit. This is our third visit and won’t be our last. We thank the owners for their cosy home from home and their lovely welcome package."

"Chose this property for the proximity to a family wedding, but so glad we did. The accomodation is pure luxury, extremely comfortable, well equipped and with amazing mattresses for a fabulous nights sleep. You are set in the country but with easy access to visit numerous places easily. You can sit and enjoy watching the birds and wildlife. The hosts are very friendly and accomodating and have made a wonderful place to stay. Highly recomend. Thankyou."

We found Jasmine Cottage very well setup and comfortable for our stay, with Angela quick to respond when a few queries for us came up.
