Wonderful summer trip!
We had an absolutely wonderful trip to Moor Monkton. A beautiful, clean property set in an idyllic location surrounded by fields and horses! Easy access to York and Harrogate, lovely drives through the Moors and beaches near Whitby.

Great stay
We had a great stay, good location for York, cycling the Moors and Wolds. Great local Pub and vineyard. Definitely will look to come again. Thank you for providing a location for a post lockdown break!

One of the Best!!
Our family group of 6 adults and 5 young children and two dogs had a marvellous time at Prince Rupert House. It was a perfect setup for all of us and we felt very much at home. The owners/caretakers were very supportive. We highly recommend this place for a big get together and we really hope to return again soon.

5/5 Excellent

Spacious, peaceful fun with freedom for kids
We had such a wonderful stay! The house was very large and comfortable in every way. Such beautiful historic place with a lovely solidity (we live in creaky old houses! This house isn't that). We had the pool and grounds pretty much to ourselves with so much freedom for the children to roam and play hide and seek, football and cricket. We had lovely walks and just appreciated the space and calm. Thank you - we will return.
