"Great room, only downside is we would have preferred the bathroom to be en-suite but it was only the 2 of us so wasn’t too bad. I feel the junior suite was let down by the bathroom, would have expected something a little nicer, was just a basic bathroom suite. Wonderful breakfast, plenty of choice and great quality produce."

"I seem to be a regular here mainly as it is one of the cheapest in York. The interior is starting to get tired but they still have baths in most rooms, not all the plugs fit properly and is the same for the sinks. but it is clean the beds are comfortable and the service excellent."

"Attentive staff on reception and at breakfast in the restaurant. I am gluten free and they were very helpful- advising what cereals were available ( Scharr in individual packets). Most cooked breakfast items gluten free and I could order toast/ sausages separately by handing a card to waiting staff with my requirements. These then arrived within a couple of minutes. Perfect location for conference centre, right next to auditorium. Car park accessible via hotel lift. We would stay again. "
