The Oriole, hot tub, walk or Bike to Saugatuck!

10/10 Excellent
"We visited the Oriole for our 15th wedding anniversary. We've been wanting to stay here for a bit, but the timing hadn't quite worked out until now. It truly is the perfect spot for a couples getaway. The parking, check-in, and the property itself makes things incredibly worry-free and there was absolutely zero of the check-in stresses I'm used to. You have a code to get in at any time, so no worries about key, and keeping them on you, or locking yourself out. Saugatuck has gotten a lot busier since the last time we've visited, so the convenience of being close to downtown, even closer to a shuttle, and having bikes if you choose really helped avoid trying to find parking downtown. The Oriole itself is perfectly clean, comfortable, and cozy. I rarely have a good sleep on a bed away from home, but the bed here is very comfortable, and we slept well both nights. The porch area is a really nice touch. You can sit and enjoy a rain storm without getting wet. The hot tub is really nice, easy to use, and has lights that you can put on in the dark. The cottage is tucked back behind the other places, so you have a good amount of privacy, and everyone else in the nearby cottages were nice and quiet, especially after 10pm. It's really the perfect place to set up base and have a romantic weekend while exploring Saugatuck"

"This property and host, Andrea, are equally amazing! The house is gorgeous - fully stocked with everything you could possibly need for your trip. This isn’t your average rental property that barely has enough equipment to make dinner, but rather stocked like a true home. Andrea was so quick to respond and send someone over to help with a few minor things that came up. We are so grateful to her and her team for making our stay magical!"
