"Circa grandparents - If Tinkering Tom and Service Sue had a Motor Inn - Starlight be its name! CLEAN. If original is not paintable, fixable or cleanable it was new. Pool, hottub and firepits with wood bundles. Coffee and carb room or walking distance is Pennyroyal for a full breakfast. Suggest local taxi for downtown Saugatuck shopping, boat rentals and dining since traffic is heavy and parking is sparse. Perfect get away for two, couples or extended F&F gathering."

"We had an amazing stay at the Holiday Hill Resort. The place is quaint so you don’t deal with crowds at the pool. It was nice and quiet. Sits high on the hill overlooking the river so that was a beautiful view of Saugatuck. There is the chain ferry just across the street to take you into town but there are other options as well. The chain ferry is a must because it is a fun unique way to go into town. There are a few different ways you can walk to the beach. We took the easier route this time we have gone on Mount Baldhead before and that is a nice hike. The owner gave us some great food and drink recommendations during our stay. There are of course many shops in town that you can spend a day going through. The owner as well as other staff members were very accommodating during our stay and very friendly. We stayed in the treehouse and I loved how it had its own little private outdoor space. The place has recently gone through some renovations and I could tell in our place the bathroom was very new. My husband and I were very impressed with our stay at the Holiday Hill Resort and look forward to coming back. We had a very nice relaxing time here."

"If you are looking for a condo to have a relaxing couples weekend, look no further. Every detail is worth the stay. The hosts are attentive and respond whenever you need assistance. The location is perfect for just sitting and watching as boats go by or to catch the chain ferry or bus to downtown to explore. We will be returning soon."

"Great location and just what the two of us needed for a self-guided weekend in Saugatuck. The place is on the quiet end of the main drag, which made most of our activities quite walkable. We reported a minor broken (shared) lawn furniture issue to the host and would advise the owner to upgrade the mattress and sheets for future guests. The sunken middle in the mattress made for a tricky sleeping arrangement, while the synthetic sheets were less breathable than a cotton bedding solution. Otherwise, a well-appointed small unit in the heart of it all!"
