Pretty basic, but everything worked smoothly, comfortable beds, not huge but OK sized rooms, decent breakfast buffet, pleasant people at the front desk, lot of free parking, fast and free WiFi. Would stay again.
This hotel is wonderful. Half a block from a movie theatre, 3 blocks from the metro station, and lots of choices of restaurants all around. The only downfall for us was that the pool was not in operation. But there is a public pool only a 5 minute drive away.
Overall, the staff was always pleasant and the rooms were clean, large and comfortable. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for 6 nights while our son went to a soccer camp in Bethesda.
Will definitely return if ever in the Maryland/DC area.

We liked the hotel. Good clean room. Enjoyed pool. Breakfast variety and quality was very good. We were downclassed from a king to two double beds which prevented my wife and I from sleeping together - this was not appreciated. Several of the chairs in the breakfast rooms had terrible stains in the fabric. Location was excellent for visiting in Wash D.C. Enjoyed a wonderful Italian restaurant nearby that was recommended by front desk. Elevators were fast and well sized. Hallways were well appointed as was the room itself - a little tight in the bathroom.
Nice modern feel. Bright rooms. Serious overkill on the fitness theme. Potentially alienating. Mattress far too soft. Breakfast options could be presented more simply, in more everyday, less fitness oriented language, parking elevator out of service, a difficulty for guests with disabilities.
The staff went out of their way, it was sincere friendliness and it was touching. The hotel has a high-end feel with great value, the location made it easy to get around - being close to major highways yet the hotel is tucked away where we felt peace and quiet. The pool and 24 hour coffee, access to a microwave in the store were really great. We will definitely stay there again when in the area.
Maryland’s second-largest city is Rockville. A remote Washington, D.C. suburb, the red line of the nation’s capital subway stops here, as does MARC (a regional light rail service between Baltimore and Washington) and Amtrak. F. Scott Fitzgerald is buried here and REM’s song “Rockville” is about this city.
