"What a wet, windy but wonderful weekend away we had at this beautiful little cabin in wales! I adore christmas so coming in to the cute decor was a bonus. Everything was carefully thought out with the little details. It was a lovely place to come back to after 2 very wet walks with the dog! We wanted a cosy New years Eve in and thats exactly what we got. We couldn't recommend this place enough. "For anyone wanting to "get away from it all" this provides a unique opportunity. No phone signal and no internet in the area where the Shepherd huts are situated provides perfect peace. The accommodation is absolutely beautiful, and superbly functional, everything you need is here. In an area which is very close to the Beacons National Park, close enough for access and far enough away from the "beaten tourist path" to offer solitude and peace and quiet. The local town of Llangadog offers places...

"I booked this property for my disabled son Jack and two of his carers. They said it was lovely (looked amazing in the photos that they sent me.) Jack really enjoyed himself so hopefully will be returning next year!"

"This is ideal for 1-2 people needing a quiet spot. It is tucked away off the Taff trail and east walking to the lovely pubs in the village. Rachael is excellent to work with."

"The hosts were fabulous and blew is away with their welcome pack but is not suitable to sleep 4. Everything is just in one room and there's only seating for 2 unless you want to sit on a bar stool. The layout also needs rethinking because at one point my wife was in bed having a cup of tea and waved to the hosts as they pulled up in their car. If they switched the sofa and bed you'd get more privacy and be able to watch the tv from the sofa. Otherwise, it was great. Would recommend for a couple."

"This was a very comfortable and warm stay for us, over the Christmas holiday. The house is spacious, with quite fun sleeping arrangements, including a loft mezzanine, and inbuilt bunks for the kids. The photos are very accurate to how we found it, and we particularly loved the spectacular living room and traditional dining room, for family time together. The kitchen was equipped with all that we needed, it is on the older side, but like with the rest of the house we appreciated the charm of it!...
