The apartment we stayed in was okay - we knew it was in the basement of the villa, but it was very dark. We had booked it as it came with a kitchen and perhaps an oversight on our part but there was no oven, the fridge was tiny and a real lack of cooking utensils, it was very basic and meant we did not really cook while staying despite having wanted to. "What an absolutely beautiful spot. The Villa was everything we hoped for and the view was spectacular! Cuoco Adriana made us a fabulous meal on our second night. The road down to the villa is a bit tricky but we mastered it on no time. Just be patient and slow. The location was perfect for our travels to Pisa , Firenze and Cinque Terre! Each doable in a day and back in time for a late dinner on the terrace. Make sure you leave enough room for the garbage man to turn around or you will hear him...

"Paolo’s property was perfect for me and my family. It is clean, spacious and very well presented. It is a perfect location for exploring the Garfagnana region and close to plenty of local amenities.
