“Great start to our Italy vacation.”

Perfect location as was 5 minute walk to Leaning Tower, Duoma and major sites, which we could see from front door and roof deck. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially Roberto (best bartender ever). Breakfast was tasty and fresh. We have stayed in many hotels and this room was better than many European hotels. Would recommend and would stay here again.

The rooms are pretty nice and the hotel staff were friendly. What was particularly great about this hotel was its proximity to the leaning tower and Duomo. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

“I was a young man when this hotel was decorated”

I say that but our stay was one night and I have absolutely no complaints. The hotel staff was wonderful and recommended an awesome place within walking distance for drinks and light dinner. The couple we we're travelling with arrived late and we got ajoining rooms on the second floor and like I stated earlier this place is a time warp. Clean large rooms and decent bathrooms, not the Plaza but a great value for the dollar. I especially got a kick out of the built in entertainment system next to the bed, too bad it didn't work. Location was perfect , about a nine iron away from the Leaning Tower. One other nice tidbit when ours friends arrived, we went to the bar bought a couple of beers and the bar tender not only opened a bottle of wine I had purchased earlier he told us we could enjoy our drinks on the roof. What a beautiful sight the Tower and Duomo is at night from the roof of this bitchun' hotel. The best hotel value I experienced of all the hotels of the week we spent in Italy.

“Nice athmosphere!”

Very convenience location, 100 m to Pisa Tower & Grand Duomo. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are wide and clean. Bathroom was OK. If we visit Pisa again, we don't hesitate to acommodate in this hotel again.

“Bang opposite the Leaning Tower of Pisa”

A wonderful hotel. Just 50 feet away from the Leaing Tower of Pisa. Good for people who are short of travel time. Hotel is in the old district of Pisa and has many hotels all around which are open till mid-night.

“Within Walking Distance of Leaning Tower of Pisa - Solid Hotel”

The Grand Hotel Duomo is a unique property in Pisa within easy walking distance of the Leaning Tower of Pisa, Duomo and grounds. It's a bit of schlep from the train station or airport but an easy and affordable cab ride. We arrived late at night for just one night and with construction at the train station we opted for a taxi. Our double room was very spacious by European standards (3 single beds with fresh, new pillows and sheets) but bathroom was a little strange and outdated (hot knob kept falling off and shower head was in the center of the tub so water sprayed everywhere when using). Price included continental breakfast that was extremely good with a selection to suit everyone (pastries, bread, meat, cheese, cereals, yogurt, fruit, coffee, tea and juices) and the hotel staff was very courteous and helpful. The main attraction is its location to Tower, I would definitely recommend this hotel for an overnight or a few nights stay in Pisa.

“Great location for Leaning Tower.”

Hotel was in great location to visit the Leaning Tower of Pisa...only 50m away. Plenty of restaurants and bars on the same street....though priced for the tourist market. Bartender in the hotel bar was great...what a character!! Driving to the hotel is difficult as there are many 1 way streets and almost no parking at hotel or on street, but everything is then in walking distance. If you want to park for any length of time beyond your checkout, the rate is ridculously high. Overall though, great hotel...clean and comfortable, and perfect as a base to see the sights of Pisa.

“Can't beat the location”

Great location to Tower and restaurants. Staff was excellent. Very helpful with anything and everything. TV didn't work and they immediately came up to fix it. Parking is difficult, but they let us keep the car out front until a spot opened. Recommended an excellent fish restaurant across the street. 15 min to airport. Cool Sat evening flea market and within a few blocks to all major shopping and restaurants. Only drawback was a little noisy on weekend night and the bed mattress was thin and hard. Would recommend for location.
