"The house is beautifully decorated and has all the mod-cons you could need. The living area was spacious and there was plenty of seating for 4 adults and a child. There is also a nice desk area that my daughter enjoyed doing her drawings. The Wifi was strong throughout the house and was good enough to stream on multiple devices at the same time. The kitchen had everything that we needed. The fridge stocked with milk and butter, and the coffee machine was stocked with capsules which was a lovely...

"Property well located for access to Anfield and Goodison. Guaranteed street parking on match day is nice (well, permit). It is multilevel so be aware of that (and the stairs were a bit steep for my 80 yr old mom ,but she managed). Only thing we would have liked flto see different was the heat to be turned on the day we were arriving since the house was quite cold and took til the morning to warm up (we arrived at night). But would recommend to friends."

"Great location , off street parking a plus. Clean bedding and towels . Enjoyed the Nespresso coffee machine ! Some decoration , furniture showing signs of wear and tear. . Pizza cutter and a bin in the bathroom would be good. Great for a short stay and communication from host fab ."

"The accommodation was very clean and modern-looking. Its situation is ideal, very quiet yet handy for Sainsburys, the restaurants of Didsbury and the many parks in the area and away from the busy main road into Manchester. The kitchen/diner/living space was on the small side for a family of 3 boisterous children.but they enjoyed themselves nevertheless. "

"A lovely, welcoming property, which was perfect for a catch up, with ample beds, towels and bedding, enough utensils for cooking a quick meal before relaxing with drinks on the patio, in the hot tub, in the airy living space or all of the above! Everything was well appointed and easy to find, loved the en suite wet room. The chickens provided unexpected entertainment and the neighbouring sheep and alpacas were very chill. "Perfect for exploring Chester on foot and close to the station. Lovely comfy beds but the house itself was not as clean as I would have liked and there are a few maintenance issues but nothing to spoil the stay. We had a great week there. The size of the house was perfect for our family of 5 with older teenagers, not a huge amount of living space for a bigger group though."

"The location was amazing for anyone going to visit Goodison Park. It is literal steps away from the back of the Bullens stand. The unit was nice, though it could have been cleaned a bit better. There were no instructions that came with the unit so we couldn't figure out how to run the central heat and had to rely on the space heaters. We also couldn't figure out how to lock the doors (lift up on the handle while turning the key!) and had trouble finding the wifi code. A simple instruction sheet...

"Unfortunately on arrival, bins outside where over flowing, quick look around the house was tidy but the cleanliness was not up to standard. Left over takeaway containers and McDonald’s wrappers left in the fridge from previous occupants. All towels in bathroom had been folded and put away however every towel was damp with a strong smell of urine. I messaged the home owner who was apologetic and looked into it. "I was unable to stay at the property as the key was not in the key safe. I had to book another property and have not yet heard from the owner or VRBO yet about the refund."

"Easy check-in. Excellent communication from hosts. House was a good size which catered for the five of us. Our only complaint was that there weren't enough cups for all of us to have our morning tea and coffee at the same time. Two bathroom features was a Godsend."

"Unfortunately this property was not as advertised with its gleaming photos - house was not as clean as it should have been with dust and dirt present, along with a lot of hair (that did not belong to us) on bedding and carpet. The bedroom with the two beds did not have a working radiator which left the room freezing cold and unusable for both nights for the two adults staying with me. Responses were untimely from the host and there was dog poo to greet us as we opened the gate to the front door....

"When we arrived there were cream chargers (laughing gas canisters), drugs clip bags and smashed glass all over the back yard. Also the end of a weed joint on the top of a door frame and blood on toilet paper. Despite this we were denied our security deposit after the stay "

"After booking and paying in full the hosts went off grid, not only would they not respond to us, but Vrbo couldn’t get hold of them either. We were left with 3 children and a baby with nowhere to stay, 4 hours away from home. Avoid this host at all costs. Vrbo were equally unhelpful in resolving the matter, telling us to sort our own arrangements out for ourselves (at 5pm!). An incredibly stressful time, would absolutely not recommend these hosts, or Vrbo as a booking platform."

It was residents parking - but there are no residents parking permits - the solution was to park 100m+ away in a car park. The decor looked tired, on arrival, but not a major concern for us - the pictures don't reflect this.
