Historic holiday home in Cheshire West and Chester with hot tub
The 'Brackens Annexe' is fully modernised, detached two storey accommodation within a wonderful country side setting and views of rolling fields from two south facing, two tiered decked veranda's. New for 2021 will be access to our summer house set in the gardens for those looking for a relaxing area or for families wanting to enjoy some extra indoor space. A bathroom with a large bath/shower and two bedrooms are complimented by a wooden, fresh water hot tub and over one acre of gardens. Wildlife in abundance with neighbouring Delamere Forest one mile away and Manley Mere Lake and water sports 1.2miles. Fishing, walking within the area with a local train station and a wonderful local pub. The Annexe and garden is set within a acre of grounds can be used to relax in one of the many area's connected to annexe or around the garden. Our hot tub feature is a traditional log burner set up that uses fresh water and accommodate up to six people. You will have exclusive use of the gardens and full privacy throughout your stay. The Brackens is for those looking for a tranquil, quiet stay to enjoy the luxurious hot tub and rural surroundings. We will endeavour to provide anything on request that may be required during your stay. The property is based in Manley which is ten minutes from Chester / Frodsham by car and a one mile from a train station that is a main line to cities in the region. Please note owner is based on site. Our cancellation policy is as stated but we will also offer alternatives dates to anyone needing to cancel if within the no refund time frame.

Great get away
Had an amazing time at this property. Great communication from the owner and he made sure we had everything we needed. Kitchen was good quality with all essentials included to cook in, (or to BBQ with). Free standing deep bath was amazing and a lovely touch having bubble bath provided. The shower was a lil strange due to the sloped ceiling but easily gotten used to. I'd never encountered a log burner, freshwater hot tub before, you have to plan when you want to get in to make sure the temperature is correct. Paul sorted it no problems and it was great experience when in. Location was about 20mins away from Chester Zoo which is were we went during our stay (had a great day). Over all a great experience and would be even better in the summer/spring with the large accessible garden.

Excellent base
Lovely place to stay just outside Chester in the countryside. Everything that was needed for a short break was at the property. The kids loved the garden and we enjoyed the hot tub.

So Relaxing
We had a lovely 3 night stay here the accommodation has everything you need really clean and well equipped, the roll top bath lovely to relax in but the hot tub was the highlight. Paul was just a text away if you needed anything, helping set the hot tub at a time we wanted it, and after showing us around and reccommending places to visit left us to enjoy our holiday.We where fortunate to have good weather for October to view the beautiful garden and scenery from the patio and terrace. It was so peaceful we had a great time and would certainly love to come again.

Cheeky weekend away
From the moment I chose the property the booking process was effortless and seamless. Paul the host, was very helpful throughout and kept us regularly updated, he even recommended restaurants in the area to try out. The property is well laid out and immaculately presented, the kitchen fully equipped, the bathroom spacious and the patio and terrace areas afforded wonderful views. The hot tub provided many memorable moments and Paul was on hand to fire it up, although instructions were given so as I could have done this myself. Overall this is a great property that I would recommend, and Paul a helpful and courteous host.

Great little getaway
Property was very nice and a great location. Full privacy and a stunning garden. The owner Paul is at the end of the phone and happy to attend to any needs. This is the only time you will ever see him, so you get the grounds to yourself. Hot tub is situated on higher grounds with a great eye-level view of the night sky. Shopping outlet with a cinema, sea life centre, crazy golf, bowling, restaurants etc. Within a 15 minute drive.
