Family-friendly holiday home with water park and spa tub
The 'Brackens Annexe' is fully modernised, detached two storey accommodation within a wonderful country side setting and views of rolling fields from two south facing, two tiered decked veranda's.

New from October 2021 will be a newly installed Log Burner and a added shower area in our ensuite bathroom. Access also to our summer house set in the gardens for those looking for a relaxing area or for families wanting to enjoy some extra indoor space.

A bathroom with a large bath including two showers, one electric and one off the mains. Two bedrooms (one upstairs / one down) are complimented by a wooden, fresh water hot tub and over one acre of gardens. Wildlife in abundance with neighbouring Delamere Forest one mile away and Manley Mere Lake and water sports 1.2miles. Fishing, walking within the area with a local train station and a wonderful local pub.

The Annexe and garden is set within a acre of grounds can be used to relax in one of the many area's connected to annexe or around the garden. Our hot tub feature is a traditional log burner set up that uses fresh water and accommodate up to four people. You will have exclusive use of the gardens and full privacy throughout your stay.

The Brackens is for those looking for a tranquil, quiet stay to enjoy the luxurious hot tub and rural surroundings.

We will endeavor to provide anything on request that may be required during your stay. The property is based in Manley which is ten minutes from Chester / Frodsham by car and a one mile from a train station that is a main line to cities in the region. Please note owner is based on site.

We offer a tranquil retreat and although we want you to enjoy your stay and relax we are not a venue that can accommodate bookings with a 'party' agenda. Bookings for all adult parties (x4) are on request. (Please ensure you are comfortable the property will serve your needs prior to booking)

Our cancellation policy is as stated but we will also offer alternatives dates to anyone needing to cancel if within the no refund time frame.

Amazing break away
Had an amazing stay perfect break away just what we needed. Lovely place. Owner is brilliant. Will definitely be coming back. As hoteliers its so nice to get away ourselves in such a relaxed environment.

Nice quirky annexe
Lovely little annexe with hot tub, not far from Chester. I hadn't realised how close the annexe was to the main house which wasn't a problem as Paul gave us our privacy but might bother other visitors. Hot tub was added bonus to our stay and kids loved it. Kitchen had everything that was needed and we were glad of the great big bath after a cold hour at Wild Shore, Delamere! Wouldn't necessarily visit again, as we like to try new places, but enjoyed our break.

Cosy home in a very private location. Very helpful and considerate owner. Good location for visits to Chester and Liverpool.

Not as described - too smalll for 3 adults
Downstairs bedroom was a room in the living room ! No couch so there was 3 of us so we all couldn’t sit down ! Shower was in the bath we had to kneel with Luke warm water ! Hot tub should of been treated with chemicals in the 2 nd day and the hot tub lid was far too heavy to put on - it took 3 of us to lift it on ! Lovely location but would not stay here again
