Apartment was lovely and spacious, not too far of a walk from the beachfront with restaurants. "We were perfectly situated to get to Taormina center. Everything in Casa Florio worked well with extras such as a bottle of wine and plenty of Nespresso capsules for the machine! The spiral staircase looks daunting but functions well. Luckily the bathroom is also upstairs with the bedroom so there were no trips down in the dark. There are two air conditioner units; we could use just what we needed where we needed and it was appreciated to keep the upstairs bedroom cool for sleeping. Genius...

"The perfect place to totally chill and unwind, which was just what we needed. Lovely characterful farmhouse, fab location, close to Taormina, the most beautiful town ever! Loved the horses who came to greet us each morning and the cats who visited us. Mimmo was the perfect host, there when we needed, and even brought us vegan cookies, which was such a lovely gesture and much appreciated! We stayed for a week but would love to return and stay longer!"

"A great property in very easy reach of Mt Etna, Taormina, Catania (40 mins from each), and Milazzo. There is also a lovely beach just 10mins away. The neighbourhood is a bit a non-descript, but it is a lovely property, quiet, with a lovely "temporary" pool which is a perfect way to relax at the end of the day. Francesco the host was great throughout the stay. Highly recommended as a base for visits around Etna."

Although we had to get use to the steps to the 5th floor living area, the view of Mt. Etnea is wonderful! A perfect vacation spot."

We spent most of our time at Mazarro beach which is sandy and has a small public area. "Property very tastefully furnished, friendly hosts (who speak very little English). OK for 2 people, would be a bit tight for 4. Major issues with swimming pool (out of action for 5 of our 14 days), with water pressure (20 mins for shower to warm up and then only a dribble), extremely loud and frequently barking dog. Although located in a side street it is adjacent to a major road - plenty of traffic noise during the day. Location convenient for Etna and the sites on the east side of the island."

Auch bei sonstigen Problemen half uns die Vermieterin promt und unkompliziert weiter. Das Haus ist schön am Rande von Letojanni gelegen, alles ist fußläufig gut erreichbar. Für vier Personen ist es jedoch definitiv zu klein, v.a. der obere Raum mit der Ausziehcouch. Hier gibt es...

"The hosts were very friendly and attentive. The villa does need some attention, particularly the bathrooms. But overall, the decor and feel to the villa is very well suited and our family loved the stay. The pool area was huge and clean and the kids loved it. Thank you to the hosts for having us!"
