The unique location of the place, suspended between the sea and the volcano Etna, will be the setting for an unforgettable stay. The two annexes are independent and equipped with private bathroom, air conditioning, minibar, TV, Wi Fi. Both are characterized by an element of nature: "Water" with the colors of blue and "Fire" with shades of red. The kitchen is shared among the guests of the two rooms and is made within an exclusive environment carved into the lava rock. The kitchen is located a few meters in front of the two apartments and is equipped with stove, oven, microwave, grill, washing machine, refrigerator with freezer, pots and pans. Manicured green spaces, a sun terrace and lush farm planted with lemon and olive trees, will be at your disposal for a unique holiday. So much welcoming, it even had a very friendly kitty to greet you every morning. Nice privacy and a functional kitchen. Etna This house in Santa Venerina, on the Eastern side of Sicily, was our last stop on a 2 week trip around the island. It turns out we saved the best for last. The house is in a lovely setting on the the hillside, with a stunning view of the sea. Our casa was spacious, comfortable and quiet, with a well-equipped kitchen meant to be shared (but we were the only ones there during our 4 night stay). Antonella and Claudio were so welcoming and charming, and made us feel so at home. They were happy to suggest restaurants & wineries to explore nearby. From beginning to end, this placed charmed us. It is perfectly located to visit Siracusa, Etna and its mountain villages, the beaches and Taormina. It was a comforting and warm place to return to, and you could easily spend several days on the sunny terrace drinking coffee and reading...along with a lovely glass of Sicilian wine at night. Villa was gorgeous, with great views (came with a resident outdoor cat). The two double rooms and kitchen have their own entrance which all open out to the courtyard (ie they are separate dwellings whereby you need to walk through the outside courtyard to get to each). Dwelling 1 has a double bedroom with en-suite, dwelling 2 has a double bedroom with separate bathroom and a front room with sofa, small table with two chairs and TV. Kitchen has seating for two. Definitely recommend this villa. ##### Simone S. Wohlfühlen ab der ersten Minute. Parken direkt auf dem Grundstück, der Leihwagen ist stets gesichert. Kein Lärm, kein Verkehr und doch sehr zentral gelegen. Supermärkte, Tankstellen, und Co. sind in wenigen Autominuten zu erreichen, sehr schöne, gepflegte Strände liegen 10 bis 15 Minuten entfernt. Viele hübsche Terrassen und Ecken mit gemütlichen Sitzgelegenheiten laden auf dem Grundstück zum Verweilen ein. Alles ist liebevollst dekoriert und sehr gepflegt. Wunderschöne Obstbäume, Blumen und Olivenhaine zieren den großzügigen Garten. Ene riesige Dachterrasse mit bequemen Lounge Möbeln bietet herrliche Aussichten auf Meer und Ätna.Die beiden gemütlichen, bestens ausgestatteten Schlafzimmer mit Bädern bieten reichlich Platz und Komfort. Gegenüber liegt eine komplett ausgestattete, moderne Küche, dazwischen eine kleine Piazza zum Essen, Trinken und Ratschen.Der Ätna präsentiert sich im Haus, vorhandenes Lava- gestein wurde in den Wänden integriert, sizilianischer Flair liegt überall in der Luft. Alles ist blitzsauber und einladend, eine perfekte Harmonie aus Tradition und Moderne.Unsere Gastgeber Antonia und Claudio sind ein reizendes Paar, die wir sofort und für immer ins Herz geschlossen haben.Der Empfang war herzlichst und unkompliziert, Antonia und Claudio hatten die besten Tipps für Ausflüge und gutes Essen.Eine paradisische Woche liegt hinter uns. Très propre, belle place tranquille, les propriétaires sont très gentils et avenants. On est près de tout, autoroute, centre d'achat, épicerie, station service. Je le recommande. Allerdings laßen wir die Beschreibung so, als wäre alles eine Unterkunft. Letztendlich waren es zwei Appartements. Wir waren im untren Appartement und hatten somit nur den Blick in den Garten. Nur wenn wir hochgegangen sind, hatten wir den Blick aufs Meer und zum Ätna. Gut war, dass das obere Appartement nicht vermietet war, sonst wäre das nicht so einfach gewesen. Die Matratzen und das Kopfkissen waren sehr hart. Wer harte Matratzen mag, schläft gut. Antonella und ihr Mann sind sehr freundlich und mega bemüht. Vielen Dank an die Beiden! Nous avions loué les 2 chambres, plusieurs terrasses pour admirer les vues et prendre ses repas. La maison est entourée d une sublime citronneraie, vue sur l Etna bref un pur bonheur.
