Excellent hotel for a quiet trip away. I went with my wife for a 4 night stay and was very impressed with the hotel. The reception staff spoke excellently in a variety of languages and the bar staff made the best white russian I've had, as well other excellent cocktails.
They offer a free shuttle to/from town (or their beach section - with no extra cost for sun lounger etc) which is a 20 minute walk away.
The Al Capone restaurant offered very good food that is reasonably priced. A single course with a cocktail and bottled water for 2 cost approx 40 eur. The full breakfast on offer was plenty to keep us going until we had a very light lunch or a large lunch later during the day and then a lighter evening meal. It included eggs and bacon (as much as you wanted), cereals, fruit, fruit juices, yoghurt, meats and cheese, pastries, breads and jams - really couldn't fault them on this (most morning my wife and I had 4 course breakfasts).
The only gripe we had was when asking the reception to book us Taxi to Palermo Airport (as we had an earlyish flight home) they said they could only use their own private hire company/person which cost 130 eur. We had been quoted 100 eur from a taxi driver who took us to the Hotel from Cefalu Train Station. And, after failing to make contact ourselves we had to pay the extra.

Lovely small hotel with gorgeous views over the marina. The rooms are set around the pool, plenty of sunbeds. The rooms are comfortable, the excellent breakfast was taken on the lawn below the pool. Evening dinner was set out around the pool with a logpit fire which looked wonderful, though in fact we in fact chose to eat at a sister hotel in Cefalu which was excellent. They sent a courtesy car to collect and deliver us back.
After travelling through Palermo via train me and my partner were spectictal about how nice Cefalu would be and the accommodation. On arrival to the hotel we were amazed how close you where to the (private) beach! The hotel staff were wonderful, friendly and tried there up most to satisfy us especially with speaking English. We only had breakfast however the buffet selection catered for all. The bedrooms had all the essentials, good size shower, clean towels, hair dryer, comfy bed and a sea view balcony. In summary really would recommend this gem of a hotel in a beautiful part of Sicily!
I spent a 4 day weekend in July at Kalura Hotel. The walk into town (Cefalu) goes right along the coast so its very scenic.
The beach area is private - just for hotel guests, so not crowded or noisy like the beaches in town. The water entry is pebbles then a mix of big pebbles and smooth stones, so you might like to wear water shoes. The snorkeling and sea kayaking were excellent. The sea was not rough at all. The stairs from the hotel down to the beach are numerous but with plenty of hand rails. The swimming pool is up with the hotel, next to the tennis courts with a great view of La Rocca. The property is very large so there are many different views.
My "twin" room was small, of course, but not cramped. Nice balcony (not private though) with sea view to the east. Other rooms had larger balconies, some were covered, and they don't all face the same way.

The hotel is in a superb place, in the middle of the beutiful old town. The staff was really helpful and nice. They have cleaned the bathroom every day. Best price for its value in Cefalú. The roof terrace was amazing, with a 360 panorama!
We parked free at the port, which was 10 minutes away by foot.

Myself and my boyfriend had a great stay here that catered to all our requirements. Situated just outside the old town and 10 minutes walk from the beach this B&B is in a great location with free parking and offers great views. The breakfast was nice and varied and we had a welcome drink and cookie on arrival..... the whole ambiance was modern and stylish with great character and the rooms were very clean. Their was a power shower with various settings which is a real bonus when you have long thick hair to wash! A little fridge in the room would have been really handy in such a hot season, but that was just a very minor point. However the real bonus was the friendly family service, all of whom were available to give advice regarding tourist activities and restaurants etc and just to chat to generally. An amazing place and we wouldn't hesitate to go back!
Unfortunately a baby crying all night in the next room didn't help however the B&B is beautiful, the staff wonderful & attentive. The breakfast was reasonable and the 15 minute walk into town not too arduous. WiFi worked in the room.
