We stayed at the hotel on a family vacation and it was a perfect choice. The suites are not fancy, but everything was in excellent and clean condition and the suites are unusually large, making it comfortable us to congregate in the living room to plan our day or relax together at the end of the day. The breakfast was also unusually good with many choices of fresh fruit, vegetables and whole grain breads, not just the typical meats, cheeses and sweets. The location is a good one--across from a lovely park and walking distance to many tourist attractions and performing arts halls.
The staff were very helpful, the room was comfortable and it was cleaned every day. The bed was very comfortable. The room had a combination safe and a fridge in which one could store some purchases from the local supermarket nearby. The air-conditioning worked well, which was good as the temperatures in the city reached 39 degrees Celsius on occasions. One of the desk staff arranged for me to have free access to the internet, which was nice as their advertised rate is rather expensive. I didn't drink at the hotel bar or eat breakfast or dinner in the hotel. There are cafes not too far away and I had breakfast there, e.g. at Cafe Schwarzenberger along the road.
Vienna is an amazing city, with interesting design and architecture on view seemingly everywhere. The concerts, jazz and classical, were excellent. Salzburg is only 2.5 hours away by the railjet and Bratislava only 75 minutes away by boat.
WIFI was out for the first day of our visit, except for the lobby. Room was nice and quiet, clean. Staff was a little confused dealing with our laundry, but could have been partly due to my lack of German.
What do you expect for a 2 star hotel? What we got was a great night sleep for not a lot of money! Checkin was smooth the staff knew fluent English and the wifi was very fast. The bed was so comfortable and even the pillows were too we were pleasantly surprised. The bathroom was tiny but hey it's Europe, I actually have been in smaller. The lack of air conditioning or even a fan wasn't a problem where as you could open the window completely. The location was right outside the city centre but only took about 5 minutes by the S1-3 via Rennweg. All in all great value and we would stay there again if needed. Leaves more money in your pocket to spend on the fun stuff.
Within walking distance of historic centre and many sights of Venice this elegant 4 star hotel offers newly renovated and …More
Rooms are on the small side, but they are very nice and the bed is very comfortable. They are also very quiet. Sound isolation is excellent at this hotel, so you won't hear your neighbors TV or anything for that matter.
This is a business hotel. So like most nice business hotels, it charges substantial sums for every add-on.
Good facilities, good breakfast, located in good location, easy access to city centre, very nice to offer guests free cocktail specially in such hot days in Vienna , easy access to airport
Old hotel, hotel back garden is a grasses area which guests use for sunbathing!
Vienna’s third postal district east of the city centre has medieval origins and now features many important sights and embassies. Another much-visited attraction is a visually interesting housing development called the Hundertwasserhaus.
