We like chilling at the lobby lounge with a cup of cuppa or hot cocoa before heading out in the morning. The airport bus limousine is just opposite the hotel, which is a lot more pleasant to ride on vs lugging the luggages to the train station especially this is Golden Week!"

"Wonderful hotel, adjacent to train station and yet peaceful/zen. If it’s your first time to Kyoto and you have a lot of exploring to do, this is such a great location. I was a little concerned about not being able to walk out of the hotel to grab excellent food, but that couldn’t be farther from the case. "Accessible from Kyoto Station, with about 8mins walk. Opposite the hotel is a teppan izakaya style restaurant, which the hotel is able to make the reservation for us in advance. The restaurant is excellent! Room is clean and spacious, ideal for young families. The staffs were all friendly. On check out day, I forgot that I left my passport in the hotel room safe, they were able to retrieve it and safekeep it till I am there to get it back. "
