I got the Grand Japanese Room traveling with my daughter and niece, both whom are young adults. Very spacious with plenty of room to stow your luggage away as well as get to it when needed. This is the only place along our travels through the “big 3” cities that we actually planned for doing dinner in the room because of the table and seatings they had. Laundry on site and very close to the train line as well as bus. There is also a Fresco supermarket that’s around the corner open 24/7.

We had a one-day stay in Kyoto, and despite the limited time, the room was exceptionally clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly. My only concern was around the size of the room. It was quite cramped for a family of four, with only limited walking space. While I would book again if I were traveling solo or with a companion, I would not recommend for families. Additionally, the location was a bit further out than I had anticipated.

Nice newly buit or renovated hotel. Super close to Marutamachi station( which is just 7mins to Kyoto station via subway) . Walkable to Imperial palace. Lots of amenities nearby including restaurants etc. Very convenient coin laundry in hotel. Overall, one of the best hotels in Kyoto. Thank you to wonderful and helpful staff.

Quiet room after a long day of tours. Super clean room , bigger than other rooms in Japan. Bathroom and a shower with excellent water pressure. The shampoo, body soap and conditioner were fancy. There was a fridge and a water kettle. TV and AC. Recommended.

This place is amazing the staff there is very friendly and helpful. It has great amenities and it’s near the train station (Marutamachi station) and a bus station with in a short walk. There is Family Mart (convenience store) and some restaurants within very close proximity and less than a ten minute walk you have other choices like Mc Donald’s and 7eleven. If you are planning on visiting Kyoto you need to kyot-go to this hotel.

Breakfast was ok. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is close to the imperial palace, but not to other sites of Kyoto. The subway is close, as is the bus stop, plenty of convenience stores close by. We had booked the family room, which was quite tight for 3 adults, but we still enjoyed our stay here.
