“if you use a car in florence its perfect”
The only problem is finding the hotek. Its in a square opposite the coop . The restaurant next door is excellent
“Lovely, Wonderful. What a dream.”
A lovely Hotel with the most helpful owner and staff that go out of their way to help and look after us on our Honeymoon. Nothing was too much, from bottle of bubbly on arrival in our room, to arranging timetables, taxis, restaurants reservations, questions asked and answered with a smile. Hope to go back soon. If you are looking for Hotel out with the city centre this is good, just a bus ride into the centre, which are timely, clean and efficient. Supermarket opposite side of the road has some typical Italian fare where you can sample at your leisure and not pay the “in town prices”. Don’t forget to go to the ice-cream shop round the corner, a must.
“beautiful hotel , 'meh' location”
This hotel was beautifully furnished and the family that owns it is extremely nice and very helpful. The location is not terrible, but not fantastic either. You have to take a 10 minute bus to get to the main part of florence, butt he hotel staff is really helpful in getting you bus schedules and tickets. It is just a little inconvenient to have to take the bus back and forth. Other than that, beautiful hotel, the restaurant underneath it is delicious, and I would highly recommend if you don't mind being a little outside of the main attractions in Florence.
“Wonderfull wedding anniversary”
I decided on our choice of hotel on the basis of other reviews We were greeted by the owner Monica who was very friendly and offered plenty of tips and advice on what to see and do in the area, she recommended and booked several local resturants for us which served some excellent dishes.. Our room was clean, spacious and the bathroom boasted a powerful shower,we were also given a complimentary bottle of wine for our anniversary.
“A lovely introduction to our first visit to Florence”
We enjoyed being out in the suburbs and the efficient bus service, once we had mastered the simple technique of validating the tickets, enabled us to reach the centre of Florence within 20 minutes. Walking to the centre was also very pleasant and we discovered that restaurants and bars south of the river were appreciably cheaper. The hotel is small and delightful; the owners have maximised the use of space and paid attention to small detail that provides a very "Italian" decor. We received a very personal service from all members of the staff who responded to any query or request with genuine warmth. We experienced that "feel good" factor each day on our return from our explorations.
“Well Worth Seeking Out”
For the most part I can only echo what most people seem to have already said about the Rosary Garden. Excellent customer service from the various members of staff we encountered, and very clean and comfortable rooms. It isn't in an obviously touristy area, but - especially if you're using the efficient Florence bus service - not difficult to get to and from (though please note that the 31/32 services now seem to start and finish at Piazza San Marco in the city centre rather than Santa M.N. station); and if you want to eat locally, the restaurant next door is good enough that we happily ate there twice rather than going back into town in the evening. We certainly wouldn't look any further for a hotel if and hopefully when we return.
“Fantastic Hotel”
This Hotel along with its staff were the best my husband and family have ever stayed in. We had three rooms, each of which were superbly decorated and spotlessly clean. The staff were exceptional, especially Monika who speaks fluent English. She recommended restaurants, sights, and picturesque routes to Sienna, Lucca and Viareggio. We certainly will visit again, and fully recommend the Rosary Garden Hotel.
“Very Good Hotel”
This is an immaculate hotel where it is clear from every room that the owner-operator has paid attention to detail. After many hotels in Italy, it was delightful to stay here. It is well away from the old city and there's a 10 minute bus ride into Florence. If you wish to stay in the center of things, this is not for you.
“Hope to go back”
Home from home. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff whose excellent english made life very easy. Many thanks to Monica and her team.
“A Beautiful Boutique Hotel”
From the moment we arrived at the Rosary Garden, well past midnight to check in, to the day of our departure, the friendly and welcoming staff were always on hand to help with maps, information, restaurant bookings, assist with our luggage etc. 5-star service in a 3-star hotel; nothing was too much trouble. Our well appointed and individually styled room (one of just 14 in the hotel) was spacious, spotless and comfortable, with some lovely touches; luxurious furnishings, gorgeous prints on the walls and a real Tuscan feel; complete with a beautiful bathroom and a very effective air-conditioning system. The traditional Italian breakfast buffet in the cosy dining area was delicious and always served with a smile. The hotel is ideally located away from the hubbub of the city in a quiet residential area but just a 45 minute stroll or a 10 minute bus ride from the centre of Florence, and close to some lovely local restaurants, a gelateria with a dazzling array of delicious ice creams and a large supermarket. It was a real pleasure to discover such a little gem of a hotel on our travels - we'll certainly be visiting again!
