Hotel Horto Convento was located in a nice quiet area but close enough to the centre to easily access all the main sites and had a good choice of restaurants within 5-10 minutes walk. The staff were extremely polite, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and rooms light and airy.

Great property and location. Even greater service and customer experience. Felt like we were in on a secret with this location and hotel that was walkable distance to the main attractions (max 20 min walk) while being close to some amazing food. Giovanni at the front desk was a wealth of knowledge! He helped us with parking (that part is a bit difficult, but it’s Florence so that comes with the territory) He helped us with local food places to eat and even to help us find a local laundromat. He was very communicative! The place was clean and had everything we needed.

We LOVED Hotel Horto Convento! It’s a beautiful hotel with attentive staff, a phenomenal breakfast, and a lovely courtyard for relaxing outside. Each night when we arrived back at the property after having dinner, we felt like we were staying at our own private Italian villa…it was magical.
