"Bright, clean and spacious room. Located right off the highway but in a lovely green space hidden away. The room was big with a large ensuite. It is a little dated but perfectly kept and clean and absolutely everything you could need - even an iron. Slept really well which is what you need when travelling. "We had a lovely stay at Gails. I received a phonecall earlier in the day from Lucy to say that the boiler was not working and they were unable to get anyone to fix it so they would be refunding us half of the cost back which was very nice of them as this was not their fault and these things happen. Checking in was easy, parking was fine, the room was lovely, comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was included and was very nice. "Stayed in cabin 3, and despite reading some recent negative reviews, we were very happy with the room. It was clean, well stocked and the view over the lake in the morning was amazing. Breakfast was very nice and had lots of variety. Our only small gripe was the beds weren’t particularly comfortable. Mattresses are subjective and we were only there 1 night. Would definitely recommend and will be looking to stay there again. It’s also only 25 minutes from Cardiff centre. "

"We booked at The Town House Brecon as we were attending the Hay Festival nearby. The welcome we received was fantastic, the room was lovely with a big comfortable bed and we slept better than we had in ages. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and there was an honesty bar in the cosy lounge area. We would highly recommend this lovely B&B and would happily book to stay again."

Lovely stay
"Our hotel stay was exceptional and very good. The only problem we had was the aircon didnt work. The hotel offerd to change rooms if we wanted but also gave us a complimentary breakfast for two nights. This was a bonus. Would stay here again. The hotel is very central near shops restaurants and cardiff queen st train station."
