"Staff were definitely all helpful, kind, welcoming. Breakfast was great, lots of choices, fresh and tasty. Walkable distance to town, though part of the walk is through a run down area with trash spread around, broken glass, old concrete staircase. From the photos I was expecting Dorian House to be a bit brighter and more “finished.” It felt clean, but a bit older, darker, and more quaint. We had prebooked and were confirmed in a room we chose due to it’s bright appearance, colors, big window....

"We were catching up with friends and family in Yeovil. We hadn't been to Yeovil for about 10 years and didn't recognise the town. Lots of renovation going on which will make it more modern. Even the weather was good .We wont leave it that long next time ."

"Last minute booking. Very much enjoyed my stay. The room was lovely: quite, clean, comfortable, great location. Was a bit reserved about the shared bathroom set up but I did not have any issues accessing it when I wanted to. Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely book again but would prefer a en-suite room next time. "

"Stayed here for my birthday as wanted somewhere close to Frome and Stourhead. Lovely room with everything you need; sympathetically restored old building with 5 bedrooms. Bed very comfortable and shower very good. Stayed for an evening meal and enjoyed the lovely breakfast."

"The pub/hotel is on the Main Street across from the petrol station so we expected it to be noisy but thankfully it wasn’t in the room. You check in at the bar which can be problematic if you bring your luggage in with you as it can be packed with bar patrons. The rooms are in a separate building which is quite new, parking is first come first serve for both hotel and general public so we had to park down the street until we could find one closer. Dinner at the pub was good, but recommended that...
