This was the best resort I have stayed at, hands down. The staff was great and the hotel amenities were just what we were looking for. Everything was updated and clean. We went with our kids and they had a blast on the beach, at the pool, and on the excursions we booked. The staff took care of everything which I sincerely appreciated, since I am the household organizer!
I booked this hotel for my parents and their 50th anniversary and they loved it. They found it very relaxing and family oriented near an interesting national park and a nice beach; not suitable for swimming due to the strong waves but still nice and relaxing.
The hotel staff was very helpful and kind. There was a general failure with the AC and the hotel immediately transfered all people for one night to another hotel nearby while it got fixed, this speaks very well of the commitment with great customer service from the hotel, definitely recommended for anybody looking for something with great value for your money.
My best friend and I went on a girls trip with our babies. We were forced to stay at the Posada due to the recent hurricane, as it was one of the only hotels open. We are so happy that we stumbled across this gem. The food and staff were wonderful. The building and experience is authentic, and the patrons are of the unpretentious type. The style is not fancy, but truly Mexican, and that is exactly what we were looking for. If you are looking for a hotel with glitz and glamour, then the Posada is not for you, but then again, you are not for the Posada. We hope to return soon!

Our experience here has been a great one. We had such a good time with the guests and the employees. I would go back to this place again in a heartbeat. The price we paid was excellent for what we received.
We were greeted by a hurricane but we couldn't have chosen a better place to endure this disaster. The staff was beyond anyone's expectations. It was a nightmare that was softened by the wonderful treatment of the staff. The place was very nice when we arrived and a total wreck when we left. We want to go back there after the place is repaired to enjoy the amenities we heard about while hunkering down for the hurricane.

"Great service from staff,could improve breakfast"
Stayed there and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We got beach towels to use at the beach. After checkout we had a couple of hours to kill before we had to leave to the airport and marisol offered to put our food, water, and snacks in the fridge until we had to leave and let us use the beach towels until we had to leave as well.
As far as continental breakfast goes it was supplied by a cafe by the hotel (very close). You received a voucher to use but the breakfast was disappointing. I had juice, I small plastic container of yogurt that was only a few bites and was warm so it was yogurt soup and a handful of slices of fruit. So not a big breakfast by any means, and one that wasn't the most appetizing either. I thought it would be a table of assorted fruits, juice, and yogurt cups with granola that you can choose as you please but you got one thing of each and all very small portions. So all in all not really a complimentary breakfast but moreso a complimentary snack.
Other than that I enjoyed marisol and the things close by. There is a restaurant nearby ten los tacos I think the name is. Awesome tacos! Close to a beach that has nice sand and shade.
