"We stayed at Barton's Mill for two nights. Plentiful parking, room was lovely and clean and the bed was comfy too. Complimentary tea, coffee, biscuits, shampoo, conditioner etc. We had a couple of lovely meals in the pub and the breakfast was fab too. The staff were lovely and welcoming. We liked the check out at 11 so we didn't feel the need to rush. We would definitely recommend staying here. A beautiful spot next to the river with lovely walks."

"Lovely room and amazing shower. A few things that would improve overall visit- the green emergency light above the bedroom door casts light into the room all night and really impacts sleep for people who need a dark room? It was rather like having a nightlight you could not switch off. Would also be nice to have more than one towel and a mirror in the bedroom to dry hair. Comfortable bed but I didn’t sleep well due to the light issue unfortunately "

"The Fox was a lovely place to stay while visiting family. The meal that we had on the first night was extremely good, and we had been told that the breakfast was going to be just as good. Unfortunately this was not the case. My husband had the full English, but the black sausage was so dried out that when he put his fork in it it broke into tiny pieces (inedible). The bacon wasn't much better. The hash brown and the mushrooms were ok. However, he was asked how he would like his egg, which...

"A most enjoyable, peaceful, one night stay, wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the grounds. We were in one of the oldest, original, parts of the house, but everything was tastefully up to date and very clean. All the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly."

The accommodation was adequate for the two nights, we found it difficult to maintain the heat balance in the room and it was fairly chilly in the pub , the good food and atmosphere made up for this. "Beautiful part of the UK, fantastic pub with really good food about 5 minutes walk, 14 minutes to Chichester, 12 to Midhurst, on the doorstep of Goodwood, and stunning walks right from the B&B. The host was friendly and very easy going. Definitely recommend! "

"The hotel looked lovely but unfortunately we didn't get to stay. Turned up to find hotels.com had not passed out booking into hotel so left with nowhere to stay in remote countryside. I'd recommend the eco lodge - staff were lovely but not hotels.com -it took almost a month to get a refund only by going via my bank's anti fraud process."

"Nicely converted stables tucked away in a lovely position. Although just off the main road, we could not hear the traffic noise. Lovely grounds, peaceful and tranquil. The rooms are conveniently opposite the granary where breakfast was laid out. Great selection for a continental breakfast - cheeses, meats, fruits, cereals, breakfast bars, a variety of breads too. Jean is absolutely lovely. She kept us amused and nothing was too much trouble."
