"Very historic hotel with a gorgeous room with sitting area, 4 poster king bed, soaking tub, and right on High street for convenience to everything. We also loved the plush robes they provided. Bill’s restaurant downstairs has wonderful food. The club downstairs does have cabaret live shows so we were “serenaded” each night. They don’t play too late and it didn’t interrupt our sleep. I’d highly recommend staying here for a luxurious stay in Guildford. 5 stars. "

"From check in to check out, the service provided was excellent. The staff were ever helpful and couldn’t do enough to ensure we had a pleasant stay. The food options ranged from exceptional restaurant to bar snacks, all of which were delicious. The ‘sports facilities’ were limited but more than adequate. Lovely walk around the estate. We will definitely return. "

"The rooms had no natural light due to the windows/balconies overlooking the inside restaurant and bar. This was very strange and also meant we lacked privacy. Other than this everything was fine. "

"Close to Farnborough Air field and Farnborough shopping area, with great restaurants. Also, Electric charging was available for our electric rental car which was a huge relief! "

"A lovey hotel and certainly at the top end of the market, the room was lovely, the bathroom was small but modern. The free Gin is a nice touch! The spa looked special but didn’t use, however the restaurant was excellent. Would definitely return."

"The one problem was the check in time. 3 p.m. suits car drivers but not train travellers , they have to carry suitcases around for some time if they if they arrive earlier."
