Ponteland is a 20 minute walk where there is extensive bars and restaurants. "I arrived early to a super friendly host. Was invited into an open lounge for the quests with a roaring real fire . Offered refreshments and then shown to my room for the night. . Cannot fault the whole experience from start finish . Real home made breakfast, just a lovely environment , and a very good price I would have paid more for this . Thanks again to the host she was super lovely .My only regret is not spending more time there. "

"We stayed here as it was close to the wedding venue we were attending and didn’t seem too expensive. Easy to find and park park at. Check in was easy and the room was spacious and I was grateful for the kettle and teabags/milk and use of hairdryer and ironing board. The downside was the bars downstairs.
