The royal mile with all the shops and restaurants was literally a 3 minute walk. Arthur’s Seat trail was only 15 minute walk. Shopping district a 10 minute walk. "I booked this Hotel for easy access to Edinburgh for the Edinburgh marathon on Sunday 26th. The hotel was a good location, check in was easy and efficient, meal options are limited although I had a nice big Pizza the day before the race and there is a Morrisons which is a 10 minute walk and easy access to the Tram. The hotel staff were friendly and in particular a guy called Maris who offered me some complimentary snacks for the marathon which was a nice touch. He was also very friendly and efficient. "
