"We got lucky and found a street parking spot right in front of the property. Once we arrived there was no one there and we couldn’t find our room. We had to call the emergency number and after about 10 minutes on the call with them, we found it. It would be nice if they put clear markers for all rooms. We were facing to road and an ally so we opened our windows to let the cool breeze in. The room was perfect! Also, there is an Indian restaurant near by that I would highly recommended!!! "

"We chose this hotel for its location for a family matter we needed to take care of. On approaching the hotel, the views across the firth were amazing!! The online check in completed a day before meant we had minimal to do at reception, with staff member being really helpful and explained that the swimming pool, gym and games area were included in the price, and xould be used as often as we liked and positively encouraged us to use it. The food served for breakfast and evening meal was fantastic....

I had a brilliant time, although the weather was awful, still it's autumn and Scotland so probably to be expected. But thanks to all the staff for making me feel welcome. "Always an amazing experience at YOTEL in Edinburgh. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I’ve stayed here 3 times over the past 5 months. Never had any issues and the room has always been great. The only let down is cleanliness, there are those parts of the room that are missed, such as corners being filled with dirt/dust, Linen being stained, and floors not being vacuumed. It’s the small attention to detail for the cleaning that is a bit of a let down. However, it is generally clean. The location is great, it’s central enough to be able to go into the various parts of Edinburgh. There is breakfast available, however for the price you can have a much nicer breakfast elsewhere in Edinburgh. I would only choose the breakfast out of sheer convenience. YOTEL’s are set up to be straightforward and convenient. The systems to check in are great, if you don’t want to interact with other humans there’s generally no need. "
