Stayed for 3 nights midweek in October. Staff were very helpful and pleasant at all times. Room was immaculately clean. Hotel is right next to the Opera and very central to all attractions. Breakfast was very good, with a good selection of cereals, breads, fruit, yoghurts and hot food. Would very much recommend this hotel and would defiantly stay here again.
Stayed here for four nights. The hotel is situated near Hero's Square. It is quite a good walk to the centre but public transport (the metro) stops near the hotel but if you take a taxi the rates are reasonable. The hotel was lovely and the staff very helpful. We ate a couple of times at the Mirage Cafe and what we had was very enjoyable. There are so many things to see around the hotel eg The Thermal Baths, Boating lake in the beautiful garden facing the hotel. There is a Zoo and Circus inside the gardens. Also there are outdoor pools at the Thermal Baths - ideal for sun worshippers. At the baths are Spas where all kinds of treatments can be taken - facials. Massage, reflexology and many many more. We took the Hop On Hop Off bus which stops outside the hotel and that was good value. We also booked a tour called Taste of Hungry which lasted for 4 hours and we learned so much. The city centre is beautiful, lots to see and it is very clean.
Great accommodations, spacious apartment-style suites and even a washer! The staff was friendly and helpful. The conplimentary amenities are excellent- I wish we had stayed longer in order to take better advantage of them! Loved the location, a short walk to the train station, Heroes Square, and the river. Recommend this location to all travellers alike.
Pleasantly surprised; nice sized apartments, great kitchen with fridge/freezer and oven for making your own food. Beds slightly on the firm side but sill good enough for a couple of nights stay.
'Backpackers' bar a couple of stops down; not too noisy at night and offered good value drinks
Staff more than willing to help out; arranging things to do, transport etc
Housekeeping every other day but new towels delivered quickly if requested.
Free access to pool and gym an added bonus
Dvd player in apartment (even had a few English dvds - don't know if they had just been left before)
We arrived in the evening and were warmly welcomed back by the smiling girl at the desk. The staff are wonderful, kind, friendly and all welcomed us back with genuine warmth. This makes such a difference and so other hotels, please note.
We always enjoy our visits and will go back again as soon as we can.
It is stylish, without being in anyway flash.

A great hotel for the price, clean and tidy and in good location. half way up the main avenue between the city park(zoo and lovely baths and hot pools) and the main city sights. Six minutes from tube station and less than ten from a big junction with trams and shops restaurants etc. the hotel simple but clean , the buffet breakfast was ok worth having so you can take in the view as breakfast room at very top of build , giving a great view across the city. don`t be put off by the area, we liked it a little slice of real city life . set in a leafy square with it`s own indoor market and local bars. The staff were very friendly , the lad on the desk gave us a great tip about a great little bistro around the corner. so all good as good as you can get for the price.
The hotel was very very clean and tidy.the staff were all really welcoming and friendly and made you feel you could ask for help about anything!
I was travelling on my own for the first time so this was important to me.
The air conditioning in the room didn't really make a huge difference in temperature, however it was in the low 30's when I went there!
I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone.the location is perfect.it is near all the main things you would want to see in Budapest.and within very easy reach of the Buda side too.
And to eat it is very near the octagon with many restaurants,or just behind the octagon are cheaper more authentic hungarian restaurants.
Brilliant stay at the central green hotel.
