"The overall experience was quite good. Three items prevented our rating from a 10. First, the numerous power outages that caused stoppage of elevators. Second, the room was nice but larger suitcases had difficulty in the space. Third, the shower hot water was not sufficiently hot although the sink was perfectly fine. If those items can be corrected you would get a 10 rating from us."

Two of the staff there have provided really outstanding service that deserve special mention : Nisha and Bhavani. "Reason why I rate lower for comfort was - when I booked the room for king size bed. I was given a combined single beds together. That really felt very uncomfortable. Best of all this was for my birthday celebration, yet this happened. Other than that, everything is perfect! I book staycations in Singapore and overseas very frequently, being able to have a relaxing weekend is important for me to recharge. "

"Well located to Bugis Junction for MRT and shopping. Hotel was pleasant but not outstanding. Foyer is small, some service doorways showing damage, breakfast ok but crowded. Eat early as some food tended to run out later in the service. Two cappuccinos S$34 in the lounge on ground floor is too high given competition nearby. Pool area is adequate but small with limited sun lounges. Our room required access through several doors and had a number of steps - always a challenge with luggage. Staff...
