"An excellent place, nice rooms and super friendly staff. The food at the restaurant was great too. The only limitation we found is that it is quite secluded and a half an hour drive away from Downtown Oxford."

Cleanliness is superb, as you should expect, as is comfort. All rooms, whichever size, are brilliant. However, the ones near the stairs, such as 21 I believe, have some noise if people are heavy on the stairs. However not a reason not to say and I believe they're one of the cheapest rooms. "This was our third stay at Galaxie. This time, our room was smaller than the others but still nice. It's a lovely little hotel with parking in the back, a nice conservatory and a distinctly English flair. Think dark paints, vintage furniture, lots of paintings and bric-a-brac scattered throughout. Helpful friendly staff and a great Summer Town location - 20 min walk to downtown and 5 min taxi/bus ride. "

"The hotel was fantastic, the room clean with a very comfortable bed, all facilities in bedroom hair dryer, tea making and toiletries, all the staff very friendly and polite especially Kayley at check in and out and a special shout out to Nat who was friendly, informative and nothing was to much bother Only slight downside had a bar meal on the Friday night starters came out at different times mine was eaten before my wife’s came out and the pizza was burnt on the bottom "

"Beautiful heritage hotel. Breakfast was excellent value and selection. Walkable to city centre and also on major transportation routes, including the hop on hop off bus ( very convenient). There is no elevator, which the hotel was clear about but the Expedia site got wrong. The heritage rooms are worth the fee, although located on upper floors. "
