"Staff were helpful. Area was very convenient. Local to man food places, shopping centre, and bus station within walking distance. 24hr reception makes it safer. Only issue was that though they claimed free wifi in alll rooms, the wifi service was not available in my room unless i stood directly in front of my door. I couldnt use the wifi & relied on my mobile data. Made planning things and keeping in touch with people difficult. "

"Great and convenient place to stay in Manchester. I stayed for one night. Check in was easy and front desk person was very nice and helpful. Room was a good size but it wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. The toilet still had the toilet brush on the toilet seat and there were some small but noticeable dark (maybe coffee?) stains in the bathroom sink. Best part about the stay was the location as it was right in the center of Manchester. It was convenient to walk to shops and restaurants."

"Lovely hotel clean and tidy throughout staff are friendly and pleasant but a lot of building work going on around the hotel at the moment which isn't the hotels fault but can get noisy and dirty outside "

"The hotel and room were so comfortable and clean. Only one suggestion. Put a plug socket near the mirror. Apart from that there was nothing wrong at all. "

"lovely staff. comfy bed. There needed to be a better clean through, Shampoo bottle on floor under curtains and sweets down the side of the sofa, along with the dust."

"From the outside, the hotel is an office block but we were really impressed with the rooms, bar and breakfast. Perfect for a night ahead of the Manchester marathon "

"Tv hardly worked, but otherwise quite decent. Helpful staff. Good breakfast, plenty of parking."

"We had a great time yet again at the village hotel but fortunately we stopped in 173. This room is narrative impossible to find the postage for it is absolutely crazy. If we just stopped another room we will give you a five star service rating."

"Good overnight stay, parking appears to be quite secure (remember to register at reception). Complimentary tea & coffee in the bar area was appreciated. Handy for nearby tram into the city centre."

"Place was nice but walls are bare thin and you can hear next door all night, when I raised this with the front desk they just shrug their shoulders. On the other side the gym was good and the staff manning it were extremely helpful and polite."
