"The overall stay was great. The elevator was real slow was on the 22nd floor and after waiting for the elevator for 25 minutes one day walked down the 22 flights of stairs. Then the next day there was another lady waiting for the elevator she was there for 15 minutes before we got there And needed to go to the 12th floor to eat after waiting 10 minutes. We went down and walked the stairs again third day there waited for the elevator was able to take one of the elevators on the lower levels and...

"Hotel is older, rooms are good size for being in New York city. Good customer service but no daily room service. Good sausage but hash brown don't feel fresh and crunchy. Love the big selection for breakfast though. Roof top patio is not inviting and well kept. Carpet looks old"

"Location is great. Breakfeast is good (relative to an american breakfeast) enough to power your start of the day. Rooms are small but this is NYC you probably won't get larger for the same amount of money. Staff was kind. "

"We came an early 8am because of our flight. Drop the bags to the doorman. Checkin was fast at 3pm. Boutique hotel, close to madness of time square but very quiet. We did not hear a sound and slept well. The doorman was very pleasant spoke Spanish and English. I expected the room to be small with kind of a closet bathroom. I was wrong. "Loved our stay at the life hotel. The room size was lovely. We had a long stay (2 weeks). The bed was large and comfortable but was rather squeaky. The room was very dark which was good for sleep ins but meant limited natural light. However as it was at the back of the hotel it was very quiet which is great during all the sirens of NYC.
