One thing that I was puzzled about was that I was asked to leave £50 as a (and I quote the receptionist) "security deposit". She was unable to give me any further satisfactory explanation, but did explain that I could use that as credit to buy food and drinks, which I did, and used up that amount during the evening. "We were there for a family gathering. The reeceptionist was warm and welcoming and very helpful. We had a meal and all the front of house were lovely, Daniella was particularly good. Her service was with a big smile, nothing was too much trouble and our food and drinks were perfect. "Used the hotel as a one night stay, very impressive with check in and help to get to my room. The room was very clean and spacious. Only fault was the TV having no signal so was unable to use in the few hours I was in my room, but I am looking forward to the next episode. The breakfast was very nice and at a really competitive price so it is a real plus "
