"Had a room on the top floor no lifts. Had a shared bathroom shower temperature very hard to regulate. But the room was nice but only coat hooks and some hangers for your clothes.. It is on quite a quiet street. There was a adjoining bar which was open for a couple nights of my stay don't think it stayed open til very late.. Coffee making facilities on the ground floor. Also free bottles of water available. Also a microwave was that area.. Hairdryers and irons available on request. Staff friendly...

"I stayed at Nap York on a quick vacation to NYC. The facilities were clean and well kept and the beds were suprisingly comfortable. I stayed in a 6-person shared room and everyone remained quiet and respectful. The front desk staff weren't the most friendly but it didn't take away from the experience. If you want a cheap place to stay that's a little quieter then your typical hostel I would definitely recommend. The location was ideal"

"The staff at this property were amazing. They were extremely helpful and about all things NYC. The biggest negative is the AC in the room was not effective leading to very warm and uncomfortable conditions during the stay. "

"Simple accommodations, but for the price in that part of New York City you can’t beat it. Building has a 1940’s feel about it, but everything was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. It is located very close to a subway stop so you have easy access to the whole city."

The sheets were not static as some guests mentioned and yes the rooms are small but I have stayed in NY many times and these rooms are bigger than the average. Yes it’s a little bit dated but it’s in such a great location and besides who comes to NY and spends all their time in the room. I loved that if you step out of the hotel and make a left you are right on top of...
