Blogger Picks: Hotels near Lisbon’s Best Miradouros (Viewpoints)

Hotel Bairro Alto
———————-
Chosen by: Suzanne Jones from thetravelbunny.com
“Boutique hotel Bairro Alto in historic downtown Lisbon sits between two of the city’s best viewpoints. Santa Catarina is a few minutes’ walk in one direction and the Santa Justa lift in the other. The hotel’s historic period exterior contrasts beautifully with the calm design vibes of the rooms to give a balanced blend of old and new. If you’re still on the lookout for a great view, head for the hotel’s BA Bar awarded the 4th best hotel-terrace view in the world.”

Lisb’on Hotel
——————
Chosen by: Ellie Cleary from soultravelblog.com
“Nestled away in a quiet side street near the Cais do Sodre, Hostel Lisb’on takes you by surprise. Its large period communal areas and cheque decor are fit for royalty, but its prices are not and will fit many a backpacker’s budget. Perhaps most unexpected though, are the views from the river facing rooms out over the Tagus and 25th April Bridge. Best of All? The hostel has its own terrace from which to watch Lisbon.”

Corinthia Hotel
——————–
Chosen by: Catherine Lux from luxlife-blog.com
“The Corinthia in Lisbon is a stunning hotel close to everything! We stayed in a Junior Suite, which we loved, and found the beds insanely comfortable. It was a short cab ride to the main areas, and with taxis being so cheap in Lisbon, we took full advantage. If you have more time (we were only there for 24 hours) then you can easily walk to the top attractions in the city. The concierge at The Corinthia were incredible – very helpful and recommended a truly memorable restaurant to us.”

Memmo Alfama
—————–
Chosen by: Nick and Hannah from saltinourhair.com
“We are huge fans of Lisbon’s old town Alfama, and experiencing a rooftop sunset in that area is the best thing. Memmo Alfama is the best rooftop we found when we visited Lisbon. It’s located near all the main attractions like Castelo de S. Jorge and Pç. Comércio. The thing that surprised us the most was the red colored pool to matches the city’s colours. Very well done Memmo Alfama!”
