YHA London Central, London
——————————-
Chosen by: Samantha from Coco Butter Blog
“Hostels are a great no-frills alternative to hotels, especially if you’re travelling on your own. YHA London Central isn’t your typical party hostel, but you can hang out in the lounge with probably the cheapest glass of wine you’ll be able to find in London! I love the relaxed and friendly atmosphere and staying here is quite a bit cheaper than your usual business hotel. The best thing about YHA London Central is its location. As its name would suggest, it’s centrally located, just five minutes from Oxford Street and has easy access to the tube and therefore the rest of London – perfect for meetings! There’s also free Wi-Fi so you can catch up on your emails.”

St. Martin’s Lane, London
——————————
Chosen by: Siffat from Icing and Glitter
“As a digital nomad, there are four things I look for in a hotel – design, centrality, service, and great wifi connection. St. Martin’s Lane hits all the checkboxes. The hotel is located in the heart of Covent Garden, a stone’s throw away from anything and everything one might need, from cafes to boutique shops. Every aspect of the hotel is extraordinary, from the sleek and spacious room to the impeccable service. If, like me, you are a foodie, then look no further. The breakfast at St. Martin’s Lane is a standout. Their menu is a lot more extensive than most hotels, including everything from salmon avocado toast to cloud-like pancakes. Whether you’re in town to visit or looking for an indulgent staycation, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. It truly is the digital nomad’s dream.”

Canggu Beach Apartments, Bali
———————————-
Chosen by: Nick & Dariece from Goats on the Road
“The best hotels for digital nomads come down to location. You want to be surrounded by other online entrepreneurs, have plenty of great restaurants around, blazing fast wifi, good amenities and a decent amount of things to do for an active lifestyle (like surfing, yoga and crossfit). Canggu Bali in Indonesia has all of those things in spades. Canggu Beach Apartments are amongst the highest rated accommodations in the area and they have a great location with a beautiful pool, plus fast wifi. The apartments are close to the best coworking spots in Bali and are spacious and modern with Balinese touches. Highly recommended!”

St Ermins Hotel, London
—————————-
Chosen by: Emma from Adventurers of a London Kiwi
“For grand surroundings in which to fire up your laptop in London, St Ermin’s Hotel in St James is hard to beat. With a beautifully ornate staircase to glide up, a dedicated area in which to enjoy a cup of coffee and cocktails made from their own honey to round out the day (the bee terraces are on higher floors), St Ermin’s is a wonderful place for digital nomads to settle. But, be warned, the afternoon tea is hard to resist.”

Mondrian London, London
—————————-
Chosen by: Emma from Adventurers of a London Kiwi
“With several restaurants and areas to set up your office, not to mention unbeatable views of the Thames River, the Mondrian is an excellent place to stay, network and party. The hotel is modern, plush and before you know it, you’ll want to permanently move in there. It also makes for a wonderful base to explore London when you’re off the clock – close to the Royal National Theatre, Tate Modern, and Southbank Centre. London Eye and St. Paul’s Cathedral.”

The Westin, Tokyo
———————-
Chosen by: Laura from Travelling Weasels
“Our favourite places to stay as digital nomads are any from the Westin chain – in particular the Westin Tokyo. This is because the staff go above and beyond to make you comfortable, and, of course, the internet is first class. Additionally, the Westin always offers incredible, vegan friendly, foods. The also often offer special extras – for example when we stayed at the Westin Tokyo we tried the Cool Japan Summer Package – where we got to try on traditional Yukatas!”

Volkshotel, Amsterdam
————————–
Chosen by: James from Nomadic Notes
“If you’re a regular visitor to Amsterdam and feel overwhelmed by the amount of tourists, The Volkshotel in Amsterdam-Oost (East Amsterdam) is a great choice for digital nomads. The East Amsterdam area has undergone a regeneration over the last decade, and The Volkshotel has been part of the revival. This former newspaper office and printing press has been transformed into an arts hotel that is entrepreneur-friendly. The hotel foyer includes a public co-working space where the public are free to come and work. The hotel also has meeting rooms that can be hired out by the hour or day, making it an ideal venue for small team meetings.”
