### The Tartan Army Hampden pre-party Scotland v Russia

With Scotland in the running for EURO 2020 with a home tie against Russia, Glasgow’s The Shed is hosting a Hampden pre-party before the match. The event is free to attend and features DJ Tam on the deck with inspirational music. There’s also a kids’ zone with free entertainment and face painting. The event takes place before the match on Friday, 6 September 2019, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

### Studio 54 a tribute to DISCO

Studio 54 is a New York City Broadway theatre and former discotheque that opened in 1977 and closed in 1986. As the epicentre of the disco era’s hedonism, Studio 54 redefined the nightclub and become the symbol of an era. In honour of the nightclub and the 1970s, F Pizza is hosting a night of DISCO fun in the new loft space on Friday, 20 September 2019, from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

### Special Day of Ship’s Tours

In a special event that marks the first opening since dry docking, visitors can step aboard the TS Queen Mary. Following renovation works, the Glasgow Science Centre is offering viewing tours of the spectacular ship. During the tour, you can see the progress made on the various project areas around the ship, ring the engine telegraph repeater and see heritage items on display, such as brass plaques and the ship’s bell. You can also purchase limited-edition souvenirs to commemorate the event and enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks.

### The Govan Shipyard – History on Film

Noted Govan Shipyard photographer David Miller captured the history of the shipyard on film between 1979 and 1996. To honour his efforts, the Govan Shipyard is hosting a presentation that includes a series of videos showcasing the transformation of the shipyard during his working years.
