The room was very clean, Breakfast was not great! There was very little choice, this was the 3rd hotel that I had stayed in during my trip and the worst Breakfast..you had to ask the member if staff for more coffee and it felt like you were imposing on them. The hotel itself is lovely but the area is very rough. Every cafe I went into advised me to put my bag in front of me and look out for pick pockets.

We loved our stay there . The terrace view of the bay was spectacular. The staff was super accommodating in all ways. And while the hotel is up in the hills, the free shuttle that ran to and from Sorrento was very well run( it’s about a 20 minute trip each way). While we didn’t eat dinner in the restaurant, we enjoyed breakfast out by the pool every day. An important aspect to add, we discovered there is an elevator that takes you to the city centre , avoiding a long walk on the stairs. Also, Sorrento is a hidden gem to base your trip out of,. The shopping is amazing there and we managed to do day trips to Pompei, Positano, Amalfi, and Capri island ( highly recommend taking a small boat trip).

The check-in process was completely lacking. I stood outside for over an hour emailing calling and trying to get lit in the door. It says the front office is open, but you have to know how to get in the door. Apparently you have to use the keypad and click on one of the options that was available. But nowhere was that in the directions and the phone number to call the reception area was not taking phone calls and no one ever responded to my emails so I spent almost 2 hours standing outside until other people came along and let me in. Absolutely ridiculous!

Incredible place. Stayed there a night before moving onto Sorrento. Wish I’d stayed there, totally different class to the one in Sorrento despite being the same price.

Hotel was great. About a 20-25 min walk from the ferry/bus. You will definitely get your exercise on since it’s on an incline lol. The roof too was awesome and the staff was great and helpful. They even gave us breakfast which wasn’t included in our package. I would stay here again.
