Great hotel with amazing staff and view of the coast.

Incredible place. Staff were exceptional, service far exceeded expectations. This place was like a paradise. The breakfast was delicious. The view from the balcony and rooftop was unbeatable. It was away from the super congested and busy town of Positano, but a very close drive, so it was perfect because it was really peaceful and we were grateful for that! Can't say enough about how amazing the staff were. They went out of their way to help us feel comfortable and right at home. From start to finish, it was a luxurious experience staying at the Hotel Tramonto d'Oro. 10/10 would recommend!

Great location. Amazing room and view of the sea and the town. The staff is incredibly helpful and polite. They booked our excursions when we asked them. Clean place. The only challenge was the steps to get to the hotel. But they offered concierge service to carry the luggage’s up the steps. This was very helpful. Loved the place. We will go back again and again

My reservation was for an ocean view room at the resort. However, we were put up in a completely different building, La Caravella Residence. La Caravella is a very old and outdated apartment building. While it is directly across from the beach, it does not feel or look like a resort. The room we were put in wreaked of cigarette smoke and had a view of beach umbrellas. I called the resort office about the difference in locations and to complain about the smell (supposed to be nonsmoking) and the man ended up hanging up on me. I was frustrated and reached out to Expedia and also wrote a Google review, which led to the property manager contacting me to explain that my original room at the resort had a bathroom plumbing problem that couldn’t be addressed, so I was moved. He then gave me an option for a different room on the second floor at La Caravella, which we took as it had a better view and didn’t smell like smoke. Manager should’ve been honest from the beginning. Very rude man. All in all the location is perfect, but the facilities are very outdated and would benefit from some investment - especially new mattresses, pillows, and towels.

Most amazing hotel and views from our balcony! Positano is stunning and we could not have picked a more magnificent spot. Getting off the ferry (which is absolutely the easiest way to arrive) we had a short walk over a small walking bridge and no stairs to the hotel. (Do not use google maps - local porter showed us the way at no charge) The bellman met us at the bottom of the town stairs and took our luggage (after I went to the front desk so they could send him). A game changer! The staff for breakfast and dinner and front desk were so wonderful and gracious. Our room was so gorgeous #43 ~ we can’t say enough. We will recommend this hotel to all our friends planning a visit to the Amalfi coast.

Beautiful hotel set on the water. Superb service by the beach (we were provided with towels, ice water, and complimentary snacks). We also loved the free transportation via shuttle into the town. Very cordial and friendly staff. Can’t wait to stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel Bellevue. Owner was welcoming. The rooms are very clean and comfortable The property is a close walk to Amalfi.

Absolutely stunning location. The room was beautiful and it was lovely getting breakfast brought to you each morning. The view was unbeatable and the staff lovely. My only complaint would be we could not get the temperature temperature in the room room down to unacceptable level of coolness as it was oppressively hot when we were there. The mini split did not seem to allow us to bring the temperature down below 80°F. Other than that, I would highly recommend this property.
