The area around the pool wasn't cleared overnight with towels left behind by guests. The toilets by the restaurant wasn't cleaned. However, the breakfast buffet was excellent and the choices of food were amazing. Credit to the kitchen crew for the delicious food. Also, credit to the young intern from Bali. Very cheerful, friendly and a delight to talk to.

Had 2 bed apartment which was huge, kitchen is better than most apartments have in the UK! Downside was facing the noisy building work which starts early in the morning and goes on till late evening. Another hotel is being built which does obscure the view to the sea. This will most likely go on for at least another year as hotel being built. Breakfast is a let down, if you go nearer the end, nothing is replaced. One day we had to queue for 30 mins for a table for which they are short. Wifi in hotel is hit and miss. Not enough sunbeds and only 3 umbrellas! At least pool is open till 10pm. Not sure why they require room numbers to get a towel. Overall a decent value for money hotel, however definitely not 5 star. Best in the area and modern. Good location

We spent 3 nights at Ambong Villas, and it was the best 3 nights, the room was really amazing, very clean and the views were insane! The staff were really friendly, and welcoming, they made it feel like home. The whole process from check-in till check-out was so smooth, even during our stay the staff helped us with recommendations to go try different beaches activities and restaurants which were really nice! I highly recommend this place. It is really special to us now and we will come back for sure InshAllah.

The staff is very attentive to all our needs. The spa is best we’ve experienced! Wildlife viewing from our room and restaurants was incredible! This resort is a fantastic adventure, especially for couples.

Our stay at Camar Resort was okay overall, but the property was not as clean as it appeared in the photos on their website. The shower also had a drainage issue — the water did not drain properly and took hours to clear, which made it seem like it may not have been built or maintained properly. On the positive side, the breakfast was okay and the staff were friendly and pleasant to deal with.

Great resort and location to Pantai Cenang beach. Highly recommended.

An Exceptional and Unforgettable Stay Our stay at The Datai Langkawi was truly exceptional and one of the most memorable experiences of our trip to Malaysia. The breathtaking rainforest setting, beautiful beach, excellent dining and wonderful spa are all remarkable, but what truly distinguishes The Datai is the extraordinary level of hospitality. We are especially grateful to the General Manager, whose personal attention, generosity and genuine care made our stay incredibly special. Taking the time to meet with us personally and ensuring that we felt truly welcomed and valued reflected an exceptional level of hospitality and leadership. We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to the management team and the wonderful team members at the Nature Centre and Spa. Their warmth, professionalism and thoughtful attention added greatly to our experience. Our thanks extend to everyone we encountered, including housekeeping, concierge, restaurants, transportation, spa and activity teams. Throughout our stay, we consistently experienced kindness, professionalism and genuine hospitality. We arrived expecting a beautiful luxury resort, but left with wonderful memories and genuine affection for The Datai and its people. It is a truly special place, and we sincerely hope to return. Five stars, wholeheartedly and without hesitation.

The Danna Langkawi is a beautiful resort with an elegant atmosphere and many positive qualities. However, several service issues prevented our stay from meeting the five-star standard we expected. Both check-in and check-out involved considerable waiting and could have been handled much more efficiently. We were also disappointed with the BBQ buffet dinner. The food selection felt limited, and the long queue at the BBQ station made the experience less enjoyable. The biggest disappointment was the spa. The massage quality was below expectations, and during our treatment the two therapists repeatedly talked to each other and even appeared to have a discussion. This significantly affected what should have been a quiet and relaxing experience. Overall, The Danna is a beautiful property with great potential, but these service inconsistencies made our experience closer to three stars than five.
